About Me

Born and raised in Hackney, East London, England. Troy began playing soccer at the age of 10 which lead him to the opportunity to play in the pro leagues until the age 17 where he was told that he needed to get stronger and bigger to continue to play in the premier league.

At the age of 18 is when Troy first stepped into a gym, lifted his first set of weights, and immediately fell in love with training. His love turned into a passion that was undeniable and something that he knew he couldn't live without. He knew that he had to surround himself with an environment that would allow him to thrive in the sport of bodybuilding so that he could fulfil his dreams of becoming a IFBB Pro.

He competed in his first show in 2001, in East London and placed second where he qualified for nationals. From 2001 to 2005 he had competed in over 20 shows. In 2006, Troy earned his IFBB Pro card competing in the heavy weight division. From 2007-2009, he competed all over the globe, from England, to Spain, to the USA to Canada.

In 2007, Troy moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where he thought there would be more opportunities for him to grow his career. In 2009, he decided to step away from the stage to pursue other life endeavors. During this time, he became a vegan and involved himself in the crossfit community. As time went on, Troy always knew that his bodybuilding passion and career was not said and done with and he would return to the stage.

In 2017, Troy made the decision to retire from bodybuilding to pursue his deeper passion, bigger vision and to follow his life purpose of serving others  by helping them reach not just their fitness goals but creating a better version of themselves through developing their mindset and to overcome life adversities.  He is a strong believer in developing your mental muscle and with the power of belief, decision, and the heart of persistence regardless of whatever life has thrown your way, you can achieve everything you desire . Troy also shares this passion on his podcast, The Persistence Factor, where he interviews people with incredible life stories where they have shown that through persistence and hard work, that anything is possible. Troy is very excited to embark on this new chapter of his life and to be fulfilled through his higher purpose. His life mission is to leave a legacy for his son and to serve 1,000,000,000 people.
