10 STEPS TO HELP YOU WITH NEGATIVE SELF TALK ABOUT YOUR BODY

  1. Your heart beats every single day without you having to tell it too. This is worth thinking about and something to be very grateful for.

  2. Write down 10 good things you like about yourself and body. Even though you don’t want to. You may say “There is no way there are 10 things that I like about my body” All we ask is to really try!

  3. Being beautiful is NOT an outside job. Being beautiful is an inside job. It is a state of mind!

  4. Look at yourself from the standpoint as one whole person. Choose to not give energy to the body part you do not like.

  5. This one thing could be at the top of list. Spend time with positive people daily.

  6. Kick out that voice in your head that tells you your body is disgusting and horrible. Tell that voice it to get the hell out of here!

  7. Wear clothes that make you feel comfortable and make you FEEL good about you and your body

  8. Stay off certain social media pictures and post that make you feel bad about you and your body! This is a big one!

  9. Do something nice for yourself (not junk food). Something that makes you FEEL good and gives back to you and your body.

  10. This is another gem! Use the time and energy that you use self bullying yourself, worrying about your weight and your appearance and go and help others. Give a friend some help and encouragement with their health and fitness goals. Go help them with their mindset. Sometimes we learn best by teaching others.

NOTE: Notice there are no nutrition and exercise strategies here. It is all mindset!
